Good is the word of the Lord

Isaiah 20: 16 And Isaiah said unto Hezekiah, Hear the word of the LORD.
17 Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be carried into Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the LORD.
18 And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.
19 Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken.

How many of us, would have responded as did Hezekiah, if we had received such a word from the Lord?  If He spoke through a true prophetic vessel , and the word was nt

Do the revelation gifts run in your family

I grew up in a community of churches.  In every  church there was a pastor, choir, ushers, deacons, trustees, deaconess and people who functioned in all aspects of keeping the church running. There were families where preachers or deacons went down through the generations. What I did not know about, until 1995 was that based on I Corinthians chapter 12, there are spiritual gifts which also may run in families  I recall one Friday evening when we lived in the county.  My grandma asked my  middle brother to chop wood so she could make a fire to cook the next day.  He told her he would do it tomorrow, She replied to him that he did not know where he would be on the next day, and added that he might me in the hands of the brass buttons,(police).  At 6:30 am the next morning the police showed up to arrest my brother because he had been accused of a crime.  My grandmother had operated in the gifts of wisdom and knowledge.  A former pastor said these gifts oftne piggy back each other. The gift of wisdom was in telling my brother that he did not know where he would be on the next day and should do what she asked now.  The gift of knowledge was her saying he may be in the hands of the police. I never saw these gifts in my mother,  but they operate heavily in my children and myself. Often we can pick up a need that the other has and supply it.  We will show up with a meal, or a snack that the other desired.  The world would say we have a psychic connection, but it is a relationship based on the Holy Spirit. Now I see these gifts in my 3 grandchildren.  Recently my granddaughter left her pink elephant in my care  over the weekend. When she returned I could not remember where I had put Pinky for safe keeping.  After searching to no avail for quite some time, my oldest grandson Ty told me to look in a specific chair. This chair had folded laundry in it that I had not yet put away. Sure enough, Pinky was on the bottom. If you or your family members find that you can locate lost items, perceive when someone is about to die, pic up in advance a direction a family member, your boss or even pastor is about to go in, please understand.  You are not psychic, you were not born with a third eye. You do not have ESP. You were born with a spirit that is endowed with the revelation gifts. Please give these gifts to Jesus, who gave them to you. Allow His Holy Spirit to lead guide and direct you. If you do not, you may get pulled in the wrong direction and open yourself to evil spirits. You will find that sometimes He speaks directly to you.  On other occasions you may just perceive a thing because your ow spirit is heightened to the supernatural. Sometimes your spirit will quicken when you are observing a person place or object or listening to someone speak. There will be situations where you receive revelation from His word.  This is a gift you are born with.  No one can lay hands on you and giVe it to you or call it forth.  This gift cannot be licensed or ordained.  You definitely do not obtain it from seminary, or obtaining a doctorate.  Nothing wrong with any of that but those are all things that you can choose or another can choose to give you. The revelation gifts were chosen by the Lord before your birth. If you do not believe in Christ, your gift will still work, but you may open yourself up yo demonic forces.  If you are in a traditional church where spiritual gifts are not taught and where no one flows in them, your gift may be limited.  And I cannot give you much advise. If however, you are in a church environment where these gifts are allowed, and His Spirit has freedom, you are blessed. This will enhance you.  If there is intercessory prayer, your iron will truly b sharpened. If you see that your children or grandchildren are flowing in wisdom, revelation, and prophecy, I suggest you find  a way to train them up in the way the Lord will be glorified so they are not pulled into the dark arts.  If you mother and grandmother operated in these gifts but considered themselves witches, you can be free of that and give your life and gift to Christ, if you so choose. Are you clothed in His Glory?

You are headed out to  minister, and are wearing your clergy attire: Blouse shirt, collar, robe, etc. But are you wearing His glory?   You have on your make up, are sporting an elaborate hair style, wig or weave. You are wearing your favorite jewelry, cologne, or perfume. Your pocketbook and shoes match.  The pocket square, tie and shirt are really sharp, You are easy on the eye, but: Are you clothed in His presence and power?   Are you wearing His glory? This is the one thing, the main thing we should never leave home without. There is nothing wrong with people complimenting your hair style or the clothing you are wearing.  It is encouraging to her someone say you spoke a good message, , but: Is anyone telling you that the glory of God can be seen on you and felt around you?  When my grandmother died in 2010, I officiated, my son did the eulogy and my husband prayed. After the service, I was told the following from family and friends:  1."You all were good", 2."We did know know you had it in you". 3."You were so pretty, your hair was lovely and your suit was beautiful." 4.  "You carried yourself well, and you spoke well and did not split a verb." 5. "Your husband really prayed," 6.  Your son did a good job."  I appreciate all these compliments, but there was one that meant more than the others. "A neighbor said to me."  " You all were anointed, I know how to recognize the anointing.  I had no idea, and you live across the street from me."  This neighbor was summing up what the others did not verbalize or did not ascertain. She said the power of God was on us. This is the ultimate compliment.  I recall in a former church, when my husband would pray, you could feel His presence descending, and see the glory upon him.   And many people told me and his mother how they  loved to see God move upon him.  Recently I did the prayer at a funeral. Afterwards several people I had not see in a while, were shaking my hand and starring at me as if they did not know or could not figure out  what they were seeing.  One woman hugged me and smiled as if I were a celebrity. When I got in the car, a quick look in the rear view mirror gave me a glimpse of what they saw.  I could see His glory on me.  I was glowing, not from the make up but because my God had shown up and shown Himself through me. There is a saying that you can't fake the funk. Neither can His glory be faked. we can shout, pray in tongues, give a rousing Hallelujah, and a few glory to Gods.  We can do the spiritual dance, and make those funny  faces, All that just like dressing up can be done as a habit,  If any of this is done, and if you are dressed to the nines, His glory should be the icing on the cake.  The piece de resistance.  There is no need to fake it, or try to fool any one.  Just make sure His glory is the crowing touch, and His presence and power are available to you. Always position yourself to be clothed in His glory. Don't leave home without it, or rather without Him.

The doors of the church {building} are now closed

Many of us grew up in churches where we heard the same thing at the end of each service. "The doors of the church are now open."  This meant that sinners who desired to give their lives to Christ could walk down the aisle, recite the sinners prayer and join the local assembly. In this hour, in this season, the Lord is saying, "The doors of the church{building] are now closed. After the economy collapse in 2008, many church doors shut because there was no funding to meet mortgage payments. Statistics and surveys continue to elaborate on the mass exodus of believers from church buildings. False doctrine, enforcing of man made rules, and abusive behavior from pastors and church leaders all play a part. Too many today see pastoring a church as their cash cow. More focus is being  placed on serving the first family, than serving Christ. His word tells us He is a jealous God. He shares His glory with no one.  As we get closer by the day to the return of Christ, He is perfecting His church, the one He said He would return for that is without spot or wrinkle. Apostle Paul tells us several times that the church is in us, and not the building.  Many believers have been taught to clean the building, give money to keep the building going, and to attend functions in the building, but have never been told how to have a personal relationship with Him, and hear His voice for themselves. Pastors have made His sheep co dependent on them as the undershepherd, rather than on Christ, The Good Shepherd.  Churches today have rules that keep members from serving in leadership, rules that have potential leaders sitting on the sidelines instead of using their gifts for the Lord. Many churches now put people out for small infractions. As Apostle Paul said;  "This ought not be." Ezekiel 34 1-10 tells us He says "Woe to the Shepherds, who look out for themselves and not His sheep. Woe to the shepherds who scatter the sheep, who are not healing the sick, and who are ruling with force and cruelty. A prophetic cry has been going up for some time, and now is intensified, for Him to shut the doors of the churches that fall in the category of Ezekiel chapter 34. If you  as a shepherd or the shepherd  you serve under, is mistreating His sheep, running them away or putting them out of church, and making church all about themselves instead of Christ; Woe be unto you because your church doors may be among the many that will close. This is why  His people need to know that His spirit is within them wherever they go. We can fellowship and bring in His presence with only 2 or 3 according to Matthew chapter 18. The only mega in the building should be Him. watch now as the dominoes fall. Watch as those who are anchored in man and not Him, will be sheep gone astray. The doors to buildings are closing even as you read this. Woe, woe, woe.

Truth sets free

If we are honest, the truth sets free.  Many however in the body of Christ, will choose to believe a lie, even when truth is exposed.  There are many reasons for this. Some individuals do not want to ever admit they believed a false doctrine.  Others want to hold on the the possibility that what did not work for others, will one day work in their favor. There are those who are so caught up in spiritual leaders, that they blindly serve these men,(and women) and pledge allegiance, to the point they are unable to hear God warning them of false doctrine. A lot of folk in the body of Christ are steeped in their denominational doctrine.  And refuse to change what they have always done. The minority, who accept truth are set free indeed. When you can admit you listened too, followed and taught a doctrine of demons, that is the first step to spiritual maturity. When you can share your experience with others, they too are now in position to be free if they choose.  You now will recognize the catch phrases, and code words that used to make you shout, but now cause you to shake your head. You will more easily be able to say no.  And not sit in services where lies are being preached. You can stand alone with the Lord, and not  desire the stroking you were used too.  Whose side are you leaning on today?  Let it be the Lord's side.  His Spirit is the Spirit of truth and leads into all truth.  You and you alone must determine your course.  Choose freedom today.  No man can hold you where you desire to be free.

Prophetic update

Don't fight your prophetic nature. Don't try to change and be more of an encourager, so you will fit in or get more speaking engagements. He did not wire you to flow the crowd. When He shows you death and destruction, just say "It is what it is. Embrace who you are. If you fall into the pattern that has been set up in the organized church, you may lose some of your prophetic fire. If you try to be a pastor, teacher or motivational speaker, your gift will diminish. Be bold and firm, take no prisoners. It is better to obey God than man. Accept that you see the hard things the deep things. And leave the encouragement, teaching and motivation tho those He called to it. It is not popular but there is a place for the doom and gloom prophets. Just read Jeremiah's story.   Don't be tricked into the name it claim it, speak it in to existence false doctrine. I know of quite a few situations , local and national where entire churches were speaking a positive confession, and one or 2 prophetic people tried to warn of tragedy coming and they were called negative. And the end result was tragedy, and not the positive confessions. Wake up and pay attention. You will learn a lot. Get your head cleared of denominational rhetoric, and hear His Spirit. More tragedy is coming to the church regarding beloved "celebrity leaders", and also on this nation. When the leaders fall, don't follow the crowd by trying to down play it or say they finished their course. See it for what it is, the judgement of the Lord. When you acknowledge this, you will be able to handle more hard truths that are to come. Don't be shocked at who falls. You have been prophetically warned. Eyes must be on Christ and not any man or woman. Whatever good came from any spiritual leader was God using him or her. Don't get caught up in any human flesh.
