Defining Nebhi'ah ( Prophetic women)

In Matthew 23:24 Jesus said:  Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: Not He did not say I sent as in the past tense/ Jesus was speaking of the future. This scripture  makes null and void the thinking that there are no more prophets. In Acts chapter 11 Agabus prophesied a famine. In Acts 21 Agabus and the daughters of Philip prophesied, long after Jesus  ascended to heaven.

In our modern world, you may hear of women's intuition, mother's instinct, a seer, born with a veil over the face, a third eye, psychic, clairvoyant, prophetic Intercessor.. These are terms you may hear for those who have a gift to know future events. In truth, those women who have yielded themselves to the Holy Spirit,(not tarot cards, Ouija boards, tea leaves, palm reading or crystal balls, would by the terms of the bible be considered as Nebhi'ah, which is Aramaic for Prophetic women. Prophetess.http://classic.net.bible.org/dictionary.php?word=prophetess.

Amos 3:7 says God does nothing in the earth without first revealing it to is servants the Prophets. There are those who do not believe there are prophets today,  specially women.  There are pastors who studied information in seminary, but do not operate in  revelation spiritual gifts, who consider any woman to consider herself a prophetess as a witch.  A true prophetess has confessed Jesus as Lord, is filled with is Holy Spirit, and not in any way operating with unholy spirits. All that you see, sense, perceive and discern is a combination of your comon sense, reasoning and logic, cognitive skills, intuition ad instinct being fueled by His Holy Spirit.  There should also be times when He speaks directly to you.  When you predict or warn people of events before they come to pass, be confident in who you are, and whose you are..
